We would like to deliver that fine wine directly to your home this month as we present our third Paisley Bear Wine Club’s Stellenbosch Selection.

We continue to aim for something new in our monthly editions and it brings us great joy that we can present a selection with variety that is unique and separate to our hallmark 2022 and 2023 Stellenbosch collections. Our only note is that the quality wines coming from Stellenbosch vineyards lean heavily into the full-bodied wines, which includes all the Bordeaux varietals, Syrah and blends. For this reason, we are providing a red collection that does not include a Pinot Noir this month.

Across the 12 wines selected for our  Stellenbosch red and white collections, we have focused on six wineries:

1. The Vergenoegd Löw Wine Estate, located at the foot of the Helderberg Mountain Range.
2. Saxenburg Wine Estate, known for its breathtaking views of Table Mountain and its unique ability to produce both excellent wines.
3. Zevenwacht Wine Estate, a wine farm with a 300-year history, producing the Jan Collection of wines.
4. Stellenrust Wine Estate, nestled between the rolling vineyards of Stellenbosch and Somerset West, offers a captivating blend of natural beauty and superb wines. Stellenrust proudly stands as one of South Africa’s largest family-owned wine estates, carrying forward generations of winemaking skills.
5. Compagniesdrift, which is owned by the Meerlust Workers Trust and has Arnis Treurnicht as winemaker.
6. Cavalli Estate, a wine and equestrian facility located in the Helderberg Region, where you can pair your wine with oysters, sorbet or a horseback ride.
