This is a beautiful collection of Cabernet and Cabernet-leaning blinds, accompanied by one Chardonnay and two Chenin Blanc wines.

Cabernet Sauvignon is a small, thick skinned, highly tannic grape that also carries high acidity. In no part due to it being easy to grow, Cabernet Sauvignon is the most planted wine grape in the work, with about 840,000 acres. This varietal also happens to be prominently planted in South Africa.

Cabernet Sauvignon wines are generally fruity, mineral or even smoky, depending on where the grapes come from. In this collection, we have selected one single varietal Cabernet Sauvignon and two Bordeaux style South African blends that include a significant proportion of Cabernet Sauvignon in them.

We have also included two of our favorite Sauvignon Blancs over the past few months, as well as a Chardonnay from Glen Carlou.

We have paired the below wines with a glorious Sunday Lunch which started with a fresh bread accompanied with olive oil and blasamic vinger, followed by a quinoa salad with Danish Deta. The main was a Rump with mushroom sauce, wilted spinach and a baked potato, which paired gloriously with the Cabernet Sauvignon wines.
